Early life and career of Jubin Nautiyal
Jubin Nautiyal was born on 14 June 1989 in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Jubin’s father is a businessman and politician, and his mother is also involved in the business. Being from an upper-middle-class family, Jubin never had to face financial problems.
Jubin studied till his 8th St. Joseph’s Academy, Uttarakhand, and further studies at Welham Boys school Dehradun. Music was also taught in this school and Jubin learned to play guitar, harmonium, and sing from there. He started singing at events during his school days.
Jubin gradually became famous in Dehradun for his singing. His dream was to sing in Bollywood and to fulfill this dream, Jubin decided to go to the city of dreams, Mumbai. After completing his schooling, he went to Mumbai and took admission to Mithibai College there. Along with college, he started participating in small singing competitions.
During an event, Jubin met Bollywood’s famous music composer AR Rahman. AR Rahman advised Jubin to improve his singing. Jubin obeyed Rahman Ji and he came back to Dehradun and took music training from his old music teacher. Jubin also learned classical and western music from different people.
After learning the nuances of music from different places, Jubin came back to Mumbai in the year 2011. Jubin auditioned for the reality show X-Factor. In this show, he was out of the top 20 but Jubin’s voice had reached the people.
